The Elman W. Campbell Museum offers fun and lively activities for adults 18+, including group outreach presentations at your facility, customized group tours and fun get-togethers.

Our monthly scavenger hunt themes are designed to be a challenging, yet fun and exciting way for you to explore the museum and learn more about local history and see what pieces of Newmarket history the Museum collects. Have fun with hands-on tabletop activities. Suitable for all ages. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

The Illuminating Lantern Challenge

Have fun exploring the museum exhibits and find the different lanterns that lit up people's lives from days gone by.

Participants will develop their hand and eye coordination, creativity, motor skills and enjoy some fun activities making unique crafts.  Finish with a themed scavenger hunt and tabletop activities.

Scrapbook Paper Easter Egg Wreath

Saturday, April 5 | Two sessions 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. or 1 to 2:30 p.m.

Get ready for Easter designing your own Easter Egg Wreath. Participants will learn how to trace shapes and develop scissor skills. Try a themed scavenger hunt and have fun with hands on tabletop activities.

Extraordinary Easter Fun Event                                                                              

Saturday, April 12 | Two sessions 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. or 1 to 2 p.m. 

Hop in for a themed scavenger hunt, try some fun tabletop activities, see our displays, and receive an Easter treat from the Easter Bunny. Don't forget to bring your camera.

Vintage Inspired Tea Gift for Mom
