​The Town of Newmarket's sweeping contractor will begin the spring clean-up throughout the Town starting the week of April 13 (weather permitting). This process will remove the build-up of any debris left on streets from the winter months.

Additional sweeping will be performed by the Town's sweeper during the summer months, as required. Residents are asked to keep waste items such as garbage bags, recycling bins, and green bins off the roadway as these can interfere with sweeping operations. To ensure the sweeper has a clear path to work, residents are also asked to refrain from parking on the street between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m.

The sweeping will take approximately two to three weeks to complete (weather dependent).
