Bring joy to others this season and spread the holiday spirit by donating non-perishable food and unwrapped toys to Newmarket’s annual Holiday Toy and Food Drive.
When purchasing unwrapped toys, consider donating for a wide range of ages including teenagers.
Don’t forget to bring some non-perishable food and toiletries items such as:
- Chili and stews
- Canned fruit, veggies (peas, carrots, green beans) and fruit cups
- Baked beans (without pork)
- Diced tomatoes
- Peanut butter
- Coffee
- Pasta sauce
- Toilet paper
- Personal care items
- Feminine hygiene products
- Diapers and baby formula
Donations will be accepted at the Municipal Offices (395 Mulock Drive) from now until Friday, December 5 during regular hours of operation (Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.).
All donations will go towards filling the shelves at the Newmarket Food Pantry and our local Salvation Army.
A formal presentation to present the items to the Salvation Army and the Newmarket Food Pantry will take place on Monday, December 8 at 11 a.m. at the Municipal Offices (395 Mulock Drive).
