Don’t be a ‘Grinch’. Bring joy this season to others and spread the holiday spirit by donating non-perishable food and unwrapped toys to our Annual Holiday Toy and Food Drive.
Much needed non-perishable food and toiletries items include:
Non-perishable foods and toiletries that are highly requested are as follows:
- Peanut Butter and/or jams
- Cereal, oatmeal, rice, and pasta
- Canned or jar pasta sauce
- Dry or canned soups
- Canned protein (beans, chicken, tuna)
- Diapers and baby formula
- Menstrual products
When purchasing unwrapped toys, consider donating for a wide range of ages such as teenagers.
Donations will be accepted at the Municipal Offices (395 Mulock Drive) from now until Monday, December 9 during regular hours of operation (Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.).
A formal presentation to present the items to the Salvation Army and the Newmarket Food Pantry will take place on December 10 at 11 a.m. at the Municipal Offices (395 Mulock Drive
